Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit from Real Madrid could be confirmed imminently after his agent flew to Madrid for talks with president Florentino Perez.
Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly made an £88million offer for the the Portuguese superstar who has grown disillusioned with life in the Spanish capital.
And his representative, super-agent Jorge Mendes, will speak to Real’s president in a bid to accelerate the move.
According to reports in Madrid-based newspaper AS, Ronaldo agreed terms with Juventus several weeks ago .
That leaves the only remaining obstacle as the transfer fee with Juventus opening the bidding at €100m.
But Ronaldo’s willingness to leave Real could see other clubs enter the race, including Manchester United.
His expected departure would likely see the Champions League winners step up their efforts to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazilian joined the French champions last summer for £200million but is believed to be unhappy in Paris.
PSG still face the threat of a substantial punishment from UEFA over their spending spree 12 months ago and could be forced to offload either Neymar or Kylian Mbappe.
Real could also attempt to swap Ronaldo for Neymar.
