Manchester City have completed the signing of another talented youngster in the shape of Dutch defender Philippe Sandler.
The 21-year-old is product of the Ajax youth system and has been capped for the Netherlands’ U20s side.
The fee is said to be around the £2.6 million mark.
He has moved from Eredivisie team PEC Zwolle and becomes the second signing for the summer for Pep Guardiola’s men after they snapped up Riyad Mahrez from Leicester.
At 6ft 2in Sandler can play centre-back and also in a holding midfield role.
He joins just as Bersant Celina leaves to join Swansea City on a permanent deal.
