Change of goalkeepers for Liverpool
Liverpool are set to turn to rookie goalkeepers Kamil Grabara and Caoimhin Kelleher for their clash with Manchester United.
The Premier League rivals face off in a prestige pre-season clash at the 107,000-seater Michigan Stadium on Saturday night.
Grabara and Kelleher have both been in the first-team picture during pre-season and have featured from the bench in recent friendly matches.
And with Loris Karius injured, they will be handed the biggest opportunity of their careers so far against United, reports the Liverpool Echo .
“Loris has a little tendon problem in the knee,” boss Jurgen Klopp said ahead of the clash.
“Nothing ruptured or something like that, it’s more that it’s inflamed so we’ll have to see how that settles.
“It’s not a big thing, but it’s likely he will not play tomorrow. The two young boys will feature.
“It was nice for Caoimhin the other night, and Kamil will have an opportunity as well so it’s good.”
