Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s encouraging start at Manchester United got a little bit better with a 4-1 win over Bournemouth on Sunday.
Paul Pogba looks a rejuvenated man since Jose Mourinho’s exit and netted twice against the Cherries – his fourth in three games under Solskjaer – while Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku completed the rout.
Solskjaer looked delighted with his players’ performance after the match and made his way onto the pitch when the final whistle sounded.
He hugged and congratulated his players as the Sky Sports cameras capturing the action veered off into the crowd to pick up one very famous spectator: Sir Alex Ferguson.

The legendary Red Devils boss is a regular in the stands at Old Trafford since his retirement, but in recent weeks has looked a little down in the dumps.
He has witnessed some poor United performances this season and has showed his frustrations on his face.
Following the Bournemouth match Manchester United fans noticed the Scot looked decidedly more cheerful as he made his way out of the ground.
And it’s safe to say his delight has rubbed off on them with one fan tweeting: “Ferguson has got his smile back,” and another adding: “He’s playing the Alex Ferguson system. You can see it in Sir Alex’s smile.”
